The company, which designs and manufactures single-purpose computers and digital displays for origi- nal equipment manufactur- ers, broke ground on its new facility Oct. 8. The 100,000- square-foot facility will be located at N7-W23700 Blue- mound Road, near the Waukesha Airport in the City of Pewaukee. Fotsch's January com- ments came during a visit from Gov. Scott Walker. The governor also visited in May 2012 when the company had 30 employees and a 14,000- square-foot facility. In Jan- uary the company had 65 employees and planned to be over 100 by 2015. A release from the compa- ny says sales have grown 1,322 percent in the last three years. The new facility was designed for cell-based man- ufacturing. Fotsch said in January the company would be investing $4.3 million in the facility and the state offered EmbedTek $300,000 in tax incentives for job growth. The company had an employee move the first shovel of dirt for the build- ing. "Our growth is a direct result of their hard work and passion for excellence," Fotsch said in a statement. "This groundbreaking is a celebration for all of us." www.embedtek.net Candy buyback planned in Pewaukee PEWAUKEE — For the sev- enth year, Pewaukee Dental plans take candy from chil- dren, all for a good cause. On Monday, Nov. 3, adults and children will be able to bring unopened Halloween candy to Pewaukee Dental, 1231 George Town Drive. Dr. Mike Schneidler is offering to pay $1 per pound, up to 10 pounds. The candy will be sent to Operation Gratitude where it will be packaged and shipped to troops overseas as part of holiday packages. The effort aims to help chil- dren maintain healthy teeth while also brightening the day of a service member. The dropoff hours are between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Anyone with questions can call 262-691-9832. EmbedTek to move to City of Pewaukee DOT announces photo contest WAUKESHA — The Wis- consin Department of Trans- portation will hold a photog- raphy contest to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its "Rus- tic Roads" program.
