Since Mel's Pig Roast is only open for guests 21 and older, organizers added an event in which families and friends of all ages can participate. Mel's Pig Roast will hold its fifth- annual 5K Family FUN Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 27. The event will begin and end at the Cedars III parking lot. Please remember this is a FUN Run/Walk – not a race! Cedars III is located at W53 N404 Park Lane in Cedarburg. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The FUN Run/Walk starts at 9 a.m. The fee for those registring in advance is $20 per person, or $70 for a family. Day of event is $25 each or $85 per family. (Family is up to six people. Early registration deadline is Sept. 19.
