Paul Ryan plans to put forward in the near future will be similar to the budgets he has put out over the last several years, the Janesville Republican told The Post on Tuesday. Ryan, the chair of the House Budget Committee, has criticized President Barack Obama's current budget as a campaign docu- ment. He said last year's budget included items that tried to bridge the gap between the two parties. "It led to a constructive process," Ryan said, adding that the president had removed "any of those olive branches" from this year's document. Ryan said he takes that as a signal Obama is gearing up for a political fight. Wisconsin U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, D- Milwaukee, said the country will be operating under the Ryan-Murray budget until the end of the 2015 fiscal year and the president's budget lays the framework for national priori- ties. "(The president's) budget helps to form the discussion around our national focus and the programs and people we value," she said in an email.
