Healthy Choices. Bill and Kelly of United Markets know that being local matters. It matters to each one of us, our employees, our customers, our vendors and our community as a whole. LOCAL PRODUCE My Father Carlo Camarda started North Bay Produce in 1968, after having worked for United Markets in the 1950's and 1960's. He retired in 1984 and now North Bay Produce is run my brother Gary Camarda and I. I am the Vice President, and Gary is the President. Our sons, Paul and Carlo, also work for the Family business, Paul is the secretary and Carlo is the treasurer. Our 3rd generation local business has been working with United Markets since the early 1990's. North Bay Produce works with Sonny, Ed and Chuck from United Markets on a daily basis and we look forward to doing so for many more generations to come. – David Camarda San Anselmo 100 Redhill Avenue 22 FLOURISH • WINTER 2013  LOCAL MEATS Almost 20 years ago, we began a wholesale sausage company in the Bay Area. We produce traditional & gourmet chicken sausages that are natural, made with quality ingredients, lower in fat but full of flavor, and reasonably priced. We tend to stay away from exotic ingredients and combinations of spices and instead focus on top of the line ingredients to produce clean, distinctive flavors. Our products are MSG and gluten free and minimally processed. All of our chicken sausages are 100% natural with no preservatives. We love what we do and we thank you for your support over the years. – Russ and Sonia Stadnitskiy San Rafael 515 Third Street LOCAL GROCERY Savannah's Seasoned Salsa has been a work in progress for the past 14 years. After roasting, chopping and blending fresh vegetables and spices then adding the rich deep flavors that are so celebrated in Hispanic foods, I had created a salsa that enhanced food instead of covering it up with heat. With each person that tasted it the question was always the same, "Why don't you market this there's nothing like it out there!". In 2010 opportunity allowed me to begin producing this one-of-a-kind "Seasoned Salsa" at the retail level with the help of family friends and many business owners like United Market and the general public it has proven itself to be the tasters choice. – Rochell Cargile Mon. - Fri.: 7:30 am - 9:00 pm | Sat. & Sun.: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Nursery Hours Daily: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Visit us at www.unitedmarkets.com or
