Zachary Quinto's new docu-series Historical Homos premieres on Dekkoo on June 9 with new episodes streaming every Friday during Pride month. The series is a fun guide to queer history that aims to show that queer people have been around for eons. The first four episodes present a nice spread of L, G, B, and T with the first exploring male ho- mosexuality in Greek Mythology and the second delving into the true story of a transgender spy and soldier, Le Chevalier d'Éon. The third episode focuses on the li le-known bisexual proclivi es of William Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe and the final Pride month episode reviews the life and loves of Virginia Woolf, par cularly her lesbian affair with Vita Sackville-West. Dekkoo.com, a subscrip on streaming service dedi- cated to gay men, celebrates Pride month with an original series execu ve produced by Zachary Quinto. It later morphed into social media with its popular Instagram page. When the siblings began their search for a produc- on company to turn Historical Homos into a series, they were connected with Zachary Quinto who hap- pened to be working on a similar project called Pride and Prejudice with Donal Brophy and Emrhys Coo- per.
