This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force on and after the 22nd day of June, 2018, and shall be published once in all adjudicated newspapers published in the County of Kern, State of California, together with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same. Section 2. Chapter 2.06 of Title 2 of the Ordinance Code of the County of Kern is amended in its entirety to read as follows: CHAPTER 2.06 2.06.010 Established 2.06.020 District No. 1 2.06.030 District No. 2 2.06.040 District No. 3 2.06.050 District No. 4 2.06.060 District No. 5 2.06.010 Established. Pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code Sections 35000 and 35001, the boundaries of the supervisorial districts of the county are adjusted, changed and established as set forth in this chapter. Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, any changes to the boundaries of the supervisorial districts shall be approved by a four-fifths vote of the board of supervisors. 2.06.020 District No. 1.
