This is the very best Pirate Fest in Wisconsin, located in the beautiful city of Port Washington, Wisconsin, has become the "must attend" event for boaters, bikers, Buccaneers, Revolutionary War re-enactors & families alike from all over the Midwest & beyond. The event includes: a Thieves Marketplace, a Gruel Galley, a Buccaneer Bash, Children's activities, demonstrations, educational exhibits, musicians, comedians, a Pirate Ship & much more. Friday 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 pm; Sunday 10:00 am -6:00 pm. Saturday, July 21, 2018, marks the 54th Annual Fish Day Event in picturesque downtown Port Washington. Fish Day is the largest one-day, outdoor fish fry and music festival in the world held on the third Saturday in July. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for area civic organizations to raise money used to support their individual missions. Headlining the Main Stage this year will be is award- winning country music star Keith Anderson. This award- winning country music artist is bringing his talents to Port Washington on July 21st. You might know him for his hits such as "Pickin' Wildflowers," "Every Time I Hear Your Name," and "I Still Miss You." The 54th annual Fish Day is also host to numerous other fun activities for the entire family including an 8K run and 2-mile Fun Run/Walk beginning at 8:00am. Then watch the gigantic parade through downtown Port Washington commencing at 10:00am. The Festival Grounds with carnival rides for all ages opens at 10:00am as does the Classic Car Show, Arts & Crafts Show and Helicopter rides on the beautiful Upper Lake Park. Other fun activities during the day soccer water fights at 3:00pm. There are nine civic, veteran, fraternal, and service volunteer organizations that operate the food and beverage stands throughout the entire area and serve up the best fish and chips this side of the Atlantic! They also serve Chicken Strips, Cheese Curds and craft beers! Best of all, it's FREE admission to the grounds with the only exception being the main stage, which requires a collectible Fish Day admission button at the gate for $5. Free shuttle buses mean easy parking throughout the city. The day ends with a spectacular fireworks display over the harbor starting at 9:30pm.
