6D PIKE PUBLISHING BACKYARD ADVENTURES 2018 CONTINUED ON THE NEXT PAGE > WINSLOW COMM FALL FESTIVAL GOLDEN HERITAGE DAYS SEPT 15 SEPT 21-23 The Winslow Community Fall Festival, featuring a flea market, food booths, inflatables and the Light up Winslow nighttime parade is set for Saturday, September 15. Other activities during the festival will be karaoke, live entertainment and children's games. Batman will also be there to meet and greet kids. Organizers said they have several other activities that are still in the plan- ning stage. A mechanical bull, expanded in- flatables, and an art show are just some of the improvements the Gibson County Chamber of Commerce has planned for Golden Heritage Days in Princeton, around what has been voted one of the most beautiful courthouses in the state this year. According to Chamber Director Jim Stephens, the organization is looking to attract the young family crowd with events like the wiffle ball tourney, a BBQ cookoff and a three-on-three bas- ketball tournament. This will be the second year for the Best One Voice contest, which sent a per- son to the vocal competition "The Voice" last year, thanks to a large cash prize. The three-day arts, crafts and an- tiques festival runs from Friday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 23. Admission to Golden Heritage Days is free every day.
