BACKYARD ADVENTURES 2018 PIKE PUBLISHING 11A FORT BRANCH FEST Fort Branch is a community on the grow, and their community festival, Fort Branch Fest, reflects that mental- ity, as well as kicking off the area fes- tivals with their earlier dates, running May 31 through June 2. Besides the food, carnival rides, games, car show and parade charac- teristic of the Indiana festival scene, the town sets themselves apart this year with an interactive mural by Los Angeles artist Wes Luttrell, fresh off the interactive mural project he led for national-brand Adidas. The festival will also feature live music with Jed Guillaume from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 31. On June 1, live music continues with area favorite Tailgate Revival, another example of local talent in success stories as the band has been gaining name recognition the last few years for their country rock. The final music performance will be Five Below, known for their southern and country rock show from 8 p.m. to midnight on June 2. The third annual Red Bank Bike Tour will also return this year.
