Graveside servic- es were held at Lafayette Memorial Gardens West. Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Leona Buffkin Sellers; his son, Christopher Sellers; sisters, Mildred McPhatter, Mitchell Lumsden, Sarah Long, Leola Willoughby and Lillian Sellers; and brothers, James, Bill, Benjamin and Woodrow Sellers. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Sellers; sons, David Sellers of Charlotte, NC and Michael Sellers of Round Rock, TX; daughters, Jeanne Toivonen and hus- band, Anthony of Raleigh, NC and Lynne Taylor and husband, Michael of Fayetteville, NC; five grand- children and a great grand- child. Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby is serving the family. LEONIA MORRISON BRADSHAW Mrs. Leonia Morrison Bradshaw, age 93, passed away on March 26, 2018. A memorial service was held in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jessie Bradshaw; her parents, Johnnie Morrison and Bessie Walker Morrison; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vangie Buff (Howard), Ruby Sain (B.H.), Argel Canipe (D.H.); and brother, Carmie Morrison. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Cook and husband, Ray of Belwood, NC, Norma Brittain and hus- band, Steve of Vale, NC; two grandsons; two great grand- daughters; brother, Donald Morrison of Vale, NC; and sister-in-law, Viola Morrison of Hickory, NC. A celebration of life was held at Buffalo Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Hord served our coun- try in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Merchant Marines. He was preced- ed in death by his parents, Posie and Josephine Porter Hord; and his siblings, Pearl Stroupe, Nida Fitch, Margie Rapp; Raymond, Luther, Gaston, Wilbur and Harold Hord.
