The Northshore Fire Department said that citizens who had stopped to render aid administered CPR and revived the driver and EMTs administered Narcan to help him regain consciousness. The Fire Department reported that the passenger in the vehicle told emergency personnel that the driver had used "a bump" of heroin prior to getting on the freeway. The passenger was able to maneuver the vehicle over to the side of the road from the passenger seat, the Sheriff's Office said. The driver was reportedly taken to a local hospital for further medical care. The driver is expected to be charged with a fifth operating while intoxicated offense, a felony punishable by up to six years in prison, and bail jumping, which also carries up to six years in prison, the Sheriff's Office said. The man is out on bail for a felony OWI arrest out of Beaver Dam. Conley News Service WAUKESHA — A Milwaukee man faces up to 40 years in prison beyond his current sentence after he was convicted this week of delivering the heroin that killed a Muskego man nearly two years ago. Jerome Stovall, 29, already serving an eight-year prison term for delivering hero- in in a 2016 Milwaukee County case, plead- ed guilty in Waukesha County Circuit Court on March 22 to a count of first-degree reckless homicide in the July 21, 2016, death of 21-year-old Austin Pulver. Pulver was found unresponsive by fami- ly members that morning. A police officer administered Narcan, but it had no effect, as Pulver apparently had been dead several hours before he was found. His cause of death was acute heroin intoxication, a criminal complaint said.
