A NIGHT TO
REMEMBER
A
ttendees of the "Latinos 40
Under 40" award ceremony
came with their parents,
their partners, even their children.
There were also work colleagues,
friends and a lot of other people.
Negocios Now "40 Latinos under
40" deserved a celebration. After
the nominees heard their names,
they came on stage happy to pick
up their award and capture the
moment on their cell phones.
Those awarded were from a vari-
ety of professions, such as entre-
preneurs, businesswomen, lead-
ers of non-profit organizations,
bankers, high-ranking corporate
officers, lawyers, technology
professionals, religious workers,
chefs, as well as one of the pres-
idents of City College Chicago,
just to mention a few. It is worth
mentioning that after three years,
this year there were 23 women
who were awarded and we paid a
beautiful tribute to International
Women's Day on March 8. We also
had special prizes, more photos
and a networking event that last-
ed all night. We did it together!
We want to express an infinite
gratitude to our sponsors, to all
of those who cooperated in the
nominations, as well as Eve Rodri-
guez, CEO of RodrÃguez Commu-
nications, for being an excelent
emcee; a big thank you to Latinc-
ity. Negocios Now's Latinos Under
40 family has grown to 120 award-
ees. We look forward to the new
2018 candidates. On August 31 we
will open the 2018 nominations.
See you next year!
