Sisters Carol Bicknell and Marilyn Gill have
summered in this tent for as long as they can
remember. Over seventy years, family stories
include three tent fires and the time their
mother went to the U.S.O. in Asbury Park and
brought hungry soldiers back to the tent for
a good meal.
When the sisters took over the tent in 2005,
"it was getting seedy," says Bicknell. As a result,
the tent underwent a major renovation in 2010
and now has many modern conveniences.
