He compares it to a mist that appears for a little while and then it vanishes. It is no secret that the older we get the faster life fl ees. Due to the vanishing nature of our life, we must seize the moment and make the most of the time we do have left. We must not leave any stone unturned when it comes to our relationships and the op- portunities that are set before us. Is there a word you have needed to say to some- one, a task that you have planned to fi n- ish or one of those "I'll get to it" things that you have been putting off? Has it ever dawned on you that today may be the last day you have on earth? It is sad, but we have heard the words, "I wish I would have", too many times at funerals. One day our life on this planet will be gone. Whatever it is; a note, a hug, the gift of forgiveness or a word of encouragement, do it TODAY. Here is a poem that reminds us of the shortness of life: When I was child, I laughed and wept, Time crept; When as a youth, I dreamed and talked, Time walked; When I became a full grown man, Time ran; When older still I daily grew; Time fl ew; Soon I shall be traveling on, Time gone.
