Name of Organization: DCH
Construction & Hauling, LLC
Bio: Jeanette Chavarria-To-
rres started her construction-
hauling company four years ago
at the young age of 22 — when
she was still a senior in college.
Chavarria-Torres studied
business administration at Do-
minican University. She was
inspired by her father, a Mexican
immigrant who lost his trucking
business when a major client fai-
led to pay. With her father's expe-
rience in mind, Chavarria-Torres
knew that she wanted to gain
the financial acumen necessary
to run an operationally sound
business.
DCH Construction & Hau-
ling is a reliable source for
transporting materials to and
from construction sites and
quarries, and to appropriate
dump sites. In just a few years,
DCH Construction & Hauling
has obtained state and federal
contracts and has been certified
as a Women Business Enterpri-
se, Minority Business Enterpri-
se, Disadvantaged Business En-
terprise and a Woman-Owned
Small Business.
