Arauz is the son of Mexican im-
migrant parents and has worked
for more than two decades at the
accounting firm founded by his
father.
Arauz & Company concen-
trates on small businesses and
takes pride in being a Hispanic
accounting firm that helps pre-
dominantly Hispanic-owned
businesses. Arauz cares deeply
about helping and serving the
Latino community. He serves his
clients by working with them as
part of a team. He teaches them
about taxation and takes a per-
sonal approach to help ensure
the economic success of each
client.
Two years ago, Arauz took
over the leadership of his
family's business. He is the firm's
primary accountant and has led
its growth and direction. He has
overseen technology updates,
client outreach and relationship-
building to take the firm to the
next level.
Arauz attended Northeastern
Illinois University and is a mem-
ber of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants
and the National Association of
Tax Professionals.
He grew up in Humboldt
Park and resides just outside
Chicago. He is married with four
children and a dog.
