Bio: There are five words you
can count on from Erika Queza-
da-Sanchez: love, integrity, com-
mitment, passion and gratitude.
Her desire to leave this world
a little better has led her on a
journey of self-discovery. Born in
Mexico, Quezada-Sanchez arri-
ved in the United States with her
parents at the young age of 13.
Quezada-Sanchez is an Ea-
ting Psychology and Mind Nutri-
tion Practitioner and a Certified
Life and Wellness Coach. She
founded and runs Lotus Life &
Wellness Coaching and has ser-
ved as a facilitator for "Mujer a
Mujer" (Woman to Woman) and
a presenter at "The Phoenix Pro-
gram." She is also a co-author of
the forthcoming book Today's
Inspired Latina Volume IV.
Quezada-Sanchez sits on the
board of the National Alliance on
Mental Illness of Lake County,
where she provides direct assis-
tance, advocacy, education and
support to members of the Spa-
nish-speaking community who
are affected by mental illness. As
an advisor to and former mem-
ber of the Catholic Dreamers
Ministry, Quezada-Sanchez
informs, guides and supports
young immigrants and their fa-
milies to accomplish their goals
regardless of their status, and
works with them to advocate for
legislation that reflects family va-
lues, justice and compassion.
She earned her bachelor's de-
gree in psychology with high ho-
nors from Northern Illinois Uni-
versity. Quezada-Sanchez lives
in Chicago and enjoys spending
time with family and friends, a
great music playlist, practicing
yoga and seeking adventure in
the outdoors.
