Launching a business that could shine a powerful, bright light on extraordinary people, their interesting stories, impactful work, leading products, passionate missions, and their success is a dream. As a business 1. Why did you want to start your own business? I'm one of those people who loves to work and finds a way to make every hobby into a job. Of course, working for myself was always appealing to me—for the obvious reasons one may want to be the "boss"—setting my own schedule, working from home. For many years, I worked freelance, taking on more and more alongside a demanding full-time day job, but eventually it became clear that I could provide more for clients and readers if I took the leap. I knew that, if I wanted to give this a fair shake, I had to go all in. I technically retired from that job, which was its own risk. I'm afforded great flexibility though I work long hours—even since having a baby last fall—and I love it. 2. What makes your business unique? Locally, there aren't many people running a business through a blog—and, of course, we've added events and custom promotions and more as the work has evolved—so that alone is certainly different from the norm. But I think it comes down to the relationships I've forged through working in the Lucy M. It's a joy to support businesses and organizations to promote meaningful causes and empower people with a purpose. Utilizing my diverse experience and insight, I pride myself in providing proven, award- winning marketing and high-achieving consulting services in public and media relations, social media, advertising, and special event planning. Everyone deserves innovative, customized approaches and to collaborate with someone willing to "think outside of the box" and make the experience memorable and fun, to maximize opportunities to market their milestones, meaningful work, products and special events. My approach is, "HOW CAN WE MAKE THIS HAPPEN?" I've been blessed to work with outstanding and successful leaders, including governors and first ladies, who were tremendous mentors. Together, we empowered people and causes. Now, I'm able to do that through my business. 2. What makes your business unique? Each client, and all marketing ventures deserve specialized attention, novel tactics and an experienced team to help them succeed, while having community for nearly two decades, which afford me the opportunity to connect people and to share experiences and opportunities with the greater Harrisburg area. I love building relationships, bringing people together, and, of course, throwing a great party. 3. What's the most fun or gratifying part of what you do? I love getting messages from or meeting transplants to the area who tell me, "Your blog has helped me so much!" or notes from longtime readers and friends who view me as an "authority" on what's happening in the area. And we have a lot of fun (writing about food and booze no doubt has its perks!), but the most gratifying aspect has been being able to translate this into projects that directly impact the community, like Harrisburg Beer Week, which raised more than $85,000 for Harrisburg River Rescue & Emergency Services in its first three years—and we have big things planned for the future. sArAbozich.coM your unofficiAl AMbAssAdor to hArrisburg sArA@sArAbozich.coM fun along the way! Today's ever-changing world of technology and competition for our attention, along with 24-hour news coverage, requires ingenuity. It's also vital to leverage our trusted relationships and valued networks and build collaborations to hit a home run for our clients. Today, we capitalize on the power of social media to advance causes and grab attention. It's humbling to be recognized nationally in my field. I'm proud of all of my clients and our combined successes. Together, we showcase our country's rich diversity and fascinating journeys of those who impact our lives. eir compelling stories become part of a multi- tiered and results-driven marketing strategy, applying award-winning promotion to create REAL buzz and success. #beinspired, "live and give," and together, let's MAKE IT COUNT! 3. What's the most fun or gratifying part of what you do? Each day is a unique journey. Working with people I admire who are using their passion, leadership and their business power is amazing! It's using our combined influence, resources and networks to make our world a much better place to live, or to save lives, or to promote our great state—now that's a true blessing and a delightful day of work!
