The Florida Project
Six-year-old Moonee (Prince) lives
a carefree life with her friends,
spending her summer days engag-
ing in mischief and living life to the
fullest. She lives with her mother,
Halley (Vinaite), in a cheap motel
near Walt Disney World, where the
hotel's manager, Bobby (Dafoe),
acts as a father figure for her and
the other children who live there.
When Halley's financial situation
grows increasingly dire, however,
she's forced to take more and more
drastic measures to support herself
and her daughter, drawing Bobby's
ire and attracting the attention of
Child Protective Services.
