Perhaps because of the immense amount of forces. Some were tearful, others bowed their heads in prayer. It was an emotional time. The table on the right is the MIA-POW table. Somehow we seem to never to be able to express our unending gratitude. Somehow we wish that every veteran could be given a tearful hug for what they have unselfi shly done. They are the eason for our continued pride. They ar f existence. The entire assembled crowd joined in and participated in the opening ceremonies. Korean prisoner of war Bailey Gillespie with his wife Joy sat in the front row and was gratefully acknowledged for his inspirational service. Bailey overcame his long time as a POW. He attributes his survival from the continued inspiration he got from a bible he hide from his captures. Cooler Weather is Here!
