Bohnert won the 200 -yard individual med- ley with a time of 2:19.13, finishing more than eight seconds ahead of the Lady Wildcats' Madeline Swal- lows, who was second with a time of 2:27.24. Bohnert also placed first in the 100 -yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.24, fin- ishing more than 11 sec- onds ahead of Evansville Mater Dei[s Jessica Anger- meier, who finished second with a time of 1:12.73. Stephens placed first in diving with a person- al best six-dive score of 206.35 points. Lady Char- gers' freshman Jenna Mey- er was second with a six- dive score of 190.35 points. Young placed first in the 50 -yard freestyle with a time of 28.67 seconds, one quarter of a second ahead of Evansville Mater Dei's Payton Pokorney, who fin- ished second with a time of 28.92 seconds. In addition, Bohnert and Young paired up with seniors Quin Bailey and Cass Conder to place first in the 400 -yard freestyle re- lay with a time of 4:12.71, and second in the 200 -yard medley relay with a time of 2:07.03. Also placing second in in- dividual events for the La- dy Chargers were Bailey in the 200 -yard freestyle with a time of 2:23.80, and in the 500 -yard freestyle Pike Central High School senior Brittany Young swims the butterfly leg of the girls' 200-yard medley relay during a meet against visiting Evansville Central on Thursday, Jan. 25.
