Special to Waukesha County Home
In an increasingly online, first-impressions
world, the home staging business has two sim-
ple aims: time and money.
Decorating empty rooms with furniture and
other accessories can help a home sell faster,
as potential home buyers can view numerous
homes at a time on websites such as
Zillow.com.
Amy Monroe, a Delafield resident and certi-
fied home stager who owns Becoming Home,
LLC with her daughter, Katie Knitter, estimat-
ed that about 95 percent of people shop for
homes online.
"Photos are paramount to helping sell a
house," Mary Imden, owner of Home Staging
Consultants in Elm Grove, said.
