Otwell Miller Academy Pike Central Above: OMA and Lil HOOsiers collected canned food items for Somebody's Place. The classes were told the winning class would win a pizza party, how- ever the entire school will be treated to a pizza party for all their hard work and generosity. Mrs. Elliott's 4th grade class was the classroom that collect- ed the most items with over 250 collected items. The entire school collect- ed over 900 items! Right: Kindergarten and First grade pilgrims and indians having a pre Thanksgiving feast! The Pike Central Middle School Student Government sponsored a canned food drive for Somebody's Place. Kindergarten students form a circle to do the Chicken Dance. The kindergarten classrooms held a dance program for the other classrooms and for parents demonstrating dances like the Virginia Reel, Macarana and Hokey Pokey. Noah Abel and Myka Robling take a VW ride during American Education week. Kole Aydelott dresses as Lee Greenwood during American Education Week's music theme. He carried his sign for the parade. MENU Thursday, November 30 : Beef stew, fresh broccoli, breadstick, diced peaches and a brownie. Friday, December 1: Meatball sub, tater tots, green beans and an apple. Monday, December 4: Mini corn dog, garden sal- ad, baked beans and diced pears. Tuesday, December 5: Soft taco, lettuce, tomato, Mexican corn and a banana. Wednesday, December 6: Beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies and pineapple tidbits. MENU Thursday, November 30 : Super nachos, pizza quesa- dilla or cold deli sandwich; salsa, lettuce and tomato, re- fried beans, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Friday, December 1:Tur- key and cheese sub, mini corn dogs or popcorn chick- en and roll; red roasted po- tatoes, baked beans, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Monday, December 4: Chicken with gravy and roll and cookie or chicken strips and roll; mashed po- tatoes and gravy, California blend veggies, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Tuesday, December 5: BBQ Chicken pizza, corn dog or cheese stuffed bread- sticks; garden salad, sea- soned corn, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Wednesday, December 6: Ham and cheese sub, cheeseburger on bun or cheese stuffed breadsticks; sweet potato fries, baked beans, fresh veggies or choice of fruit. Winslow Elementary Christmas Movie Night Winslow Elementary Stu- dent Council is sponsoring a Christmas Movie Night. Fri- day, December 1 starting at 6:00 p.m. in the gym. All stu- dents and parents are invit- ed to attend. Admission is free but donations will be ac- cepted, and will go into the Student Council fund. There will also be hot chocolate, cookies, popcorn and drinks for sale during the movie. Hope to see you there!
