Frank Finale has more than 400 poems and essays published
in more than 100 different books, journals, and magazines. He
is also the author of three beloved children's books, A Gull's
Story, Parts 1-3, and has co-edited two acclaimed poetry
anthologies, Under A Gull's Wing and The Poets of New Jersey.
Frank taught elementary school for 38 years in Toms River,
NJ, and received numerous educator awards. He is a regular
essayist for Jersey Shore Magazine. His essay "A Walk Along
The Beach" was used in the State of New York's Regents High
School Exam, and several of his poems have been nominated
for Pushcart Press prizes. Frank regularly gives readings of his
work throughout New Jersey. Born in 1942, he currently lives
in Bayville at the Jersey Shore.
