Jared Weber, 24, now of Poynette, pleaded guilty to a count of homicide by the negligent operation of a vehicle on Wednesday in Waukesha County Circuit Court, in a plea agreement that calls for a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Weber was charged with reckless homicide after the June 2015 crash that killed his girlfriend, Crystal Matusek, 20. In the moment before the crash, during an argument, Weber told Matusek, "I will crash this car," according to dash cam video. But an accident reconstructionist also found that a faulty right front strut was a primary factor in the crash, court records show. — Post staff Former Milwaukee man pleads guilty in fatal crash that killed girlfriend
