While the boat captain (Modine) throws bait in the water to attract the killer fish, the women are put into a cage that is slowly lowered beneath the surface. When the chain holding the cage snaps, though, the women plunge into the depths, finally coming to rest on the bottom, 47 meters below the sur- face of the shark-infested waters.
