The Ford Model A was manufactured between 1928 and 1931. It replaced the venerable Model T which had been produced for 18 years. It was the second huge success for the Ford Motor Company. After introduction, by February 4, 1929, the Ford Model A had one million cars sold. In March of 1930 sales hit three million! Prices for the Model A ranged from $385 to a top of the line roadster for $1400. The Model A was the fi rst Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle and gearshift. The car has been a part of the family and passed down through the years. It sits under a protective tent and is transported in a special enclosed trailer. It's a beauty and in mint condition. The 1910 Model G was the winner of the one-gallon fuel economy contest held by the Buffalo Automobile Club. It went 46.1 miles on the allotted one gallon of fuel.
