"The past several months have been exciting for everyone involved with Sendik's and we're delight- ed to open this Hales Corners store," family co- owner Ted Balistreri said. The 18,500-square-foot Hales Corners location will employ approximately 60 associates. The new store, offering both gasoline and groceries, will be the largest Fresh2GO location yet. "We're confident that customers within the Hales Corners community will enjoy the convenient and quality experience that our Fresh2GO stores provide," Balistreri said. The concept features Sendik's hand-stacked pro- duce and a variety of fresh products for on-the-go shoppers. The new store will include Sendik's Fresh2GO signature deli, which offers grilled-to- order paninis, hand-rolled sushi, a salad bar, a hot bar with homemade favorites, an olive bar and other fresh grab-and-go items. In addition, the store will offer meat and bakery departments, an optimized grocery offering and gifts from Sendik's Home. Sendik's will now oper- ate 18 total locations in the greater Milwaukee area. The grand opening comes soon after the grocer's announcement that it plans to open a store on the Marquette University cam- pus. ARI Network Services to be acquired for about $140 million MILWAUKEE — Software tools and marketing services provider ARI Network Services, Inc. has agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of True Wind Capital Management, LLC, a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on investing in leading technology companies. Based in Milwaukee, ARI Network Services, Inc. is an award-winning provider of SaaS, software tools and mar- keting services that help dealers, distribu- tors and manufacturers sell items. Under the terms of the agreement, ARI shareholders will receive $7.10 in cash for each share of ARI common stock they own. The purchase price represents a premi- um of approximately 33 percent to ARI's average closing price for the period of 60 trading days ending June 20, according to the announcement. The all-cash transac- tion represents an enterprise value of approximately $140 million and has been unanimously approved by ARI's Board of Directors. "We are very excited to partner with the True Wind team. This transaction is the result of an extensive process, and we believe it represents a great outcome for our shareholders," said Roy W. Olivier, ARI president and CEO, in a statement. "The investment by True Wind positions ARI to accelerate our pace of innovation and better positions ARI to capitalize on future growth opportunities." The transaction is expected to close in the third calendar quarter of 2017. Rockwell Automation partners with ManpowerGroup to train veterans MILWAUKEE — To help military veter- ans and increase the workforce available for manufacturing jobs, Rockwell Automation and ManpowerGroup have developed a partnership to train veterans. The companies will work to "upskill" 1,000 veterans per year by 2018, investing in the future workforce and creating a pool of certified talent for in-demand advanced manufacturing roles across the United States. The U.S. manufacturing sector is esti- mated to produce up to 3.5 million new jobs over the next decade. But with close to 2.5 million manufacturing workers set to retire by 2025 and ongoing skill shortages, up to 2 million of those new jobs could go unfilled. The United States needs to rapidly upskill its manufacturing workforce and the thousands of veterans exiting the mil- itary every year represent a talented, skilled and underutilized source to fill these emerging roles. All City Appliance pays it forward with unique charity donation program ST. FRANCIS — All City Appliance will give $5 to a charity by any customer as well as a $5 charitable donation for any referrals. Any charity is eligible, from food banks to animal shelters to a neighbor's medical bill. "We're a small, family business," founder and lead technician Michael Grimshaw said in a news release. "We know what it's like at the end of the month when you want to contribute to something meaningful, but just don't have enough left over." The program includes referrals made on social media. The first person to rec- ommend All City Appliance to a new cus- tomer can choose a charity to receive a $5 donation. "We didn't make it this far on our own, and we think it's important to share what we have," Grimshaw said. New location totals five store openings in eight months
