BreWerS FeST
Folks mingled, snacked and, of course, drank great
beer at the annual Harrisburg Brewers Fest, which
has become an institution over 14 years. e much-
anticipated event shut down a few downtown
streets, temporarily transforming them into one
big block party. Funds raised benefitted the Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation of Central PA, giving beer-
lovers another reason to feel good.
3rD In THe BurG
A record 40 venues stayed open late and held special
events throughout Harrisburg in June for the city's
monthly arts and social event. Maybe you enjoyed a
meal from a food truck; maybe you drank a craft beer
in the courtyard of the Broad Street Market; perhaps
you attended an art opening and closing. Whatever your
pleasure, you certainly could find something to do at 3rd
in the Burg. ere was even a free kickboxing workout on
the Capitol steps. Take that, Lancaster!
