It is hard to believe we are in the thick of summer already! Gotta love those hot days and warm nights. Enjoy it while it lasts. is month's feature is one that stretches gender boundaries. Di- versity Rules welcomes Cazwell as its July feature interview. If you don't know already, Cazwell is re- sponsible for the lacey men's out- fits that were all the rage in discus- sions on Facebook! e lacey men's shorts are part of Cazwell's new release entitled, "Loose Wrists." I hope you enjoy his interview and go buy some of those lacey shorts. I sort of am partial to the yellow ones! Pride month has come and gone. I hope you had a chance to get to a pride celebration in your neck of the woods. Pride celebrations are all the more important given the toxic political environment we are now living in. It is very important that we all take a stand against the vileness that is emanating from our federal government. Be Proud! Be Loud! Check out my pride mes- sage on page 20! While the bulk of the pride celebra- tions in New York have happened already, there are some coming up in July and subsequent months. I hope you consider getting to one if you didn't in June. We must never forget the reason we have pride. In addition to the political resistance and awareness that has become of utmost impor- tance, we must remember those who rebelled against police perse- cution on that hot summer night on June 28, 1969. e memory of that night and the impact the ri- oters had on the nation and world must never be forgotten. It is why we do what we do! Have a great summer. See ya soon! Diversity Rules Magazine PO Box 72 Oneonta, NY 13820 James R.
