We will be cleaning the follow- ing sections of the Broad River in Rutherford County: Section 2 (Rock Springs Church Road to Clark Road) Section 3 (Clark Road to River Road) Section 4 (River Road to Grays Road) Section 5 (Grays Road to Coxe Road) Section 6 (Coxe Road to Poors Ford Road) Each group of volunteers will clean 1 section of the river. We still need more volunteers to help on Sec- tions 4, 5, and 6. ROC will provide trash bags and gloves. We will have a few grabbers avail- able, but people are en- couraged to bring their own if they have them. We need people with canoes as well as kayaks to join us. We may have a few extra kayaks or canoes if people want to help and do not have a boat of their own. These clean-ups are al- ways a lot of fun and are a great way to meet others from the community that share a love of the river.
