Habitat for Humanity Cleveland County Habitat is taking initial applications for its 2017 Home Build now through April 15, 2017. The applicant must be able to make no interest house payments of $475 to $550 a month, must have a real need for better housing, must live in Cleveland County, and must be willing to partner with Habitat by completing "sweat equity" on the home and by attending Homeowner Workshops. The typical Habitat home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and is approximately 1100 square feet. Applications may be picked up at the Habitat ReStore, 323 W. Come ride your motorcycle on a 1 hour police escorted night group ride "BUG RUN" through Western Lincoln County, followed by our lap of lights and thunder around the stadium track that excites all the spectators. The Ride will start and end at the Relay event held at the Lincolnton High School Stadium. First sticker is $10, additional are $5. Upon completion of the ride, the bike with the most bug splats on the sticker wins $100 cash prize. Registration 6:30-8:30pm. Kickstands up 9:00pm. South Mountain Fire Rescue Boston Butt Sale The Firemen and women of the South Mountain Fire Rescue are taking orders for a Boston Butt Meal for Easter. Rose Senehi will be discussing her novel, "Carolina Belle". You will never look at an apple the same way again after reading Rose Senehi's most recent book, Carolina Belle.
