RED BLUFF 2010 3 Red Bluff, Main Street America Incorporated in 1876, the city of Red Bluff is county seat of Tehama County and counts about 14,000 citizens within its 7.7 square miles. Located 35 miles south of Redding and 42 miles nor th of Chico, it is a favorite stop of travelers on Interstate 5, the main highway through the three Western coastal states. City Hall is at 555 Washington St. down- town. It houses the fire and police depar tments. The City Council meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The Planning Commission meets at 5:15 p.m. the second and four th Tuesdays. City offices can be reached at 527-2605.
