Jennifer Wright was 13 when she visited the fi lming location, the site of the former Boys Camp (now a residential area, Firefl y Cove.) She recalls dancing on Baby's Bridge, dancing on the stairs and seeing the building where the movie's fi nal scene was fi lmed. Wright also recalls watching the fi lming of "Last of the Mohicans" at Lake James. Here are photos from her trip to Lake Lure. Johnny's Cabin and the old gymnasium have long since been destroyed, but the memories of the movie remain. Campers take part in scavenger hunt Photos By: Allison Flynn, Rutherford Weekly Children who took part in a recent agri- culture camp offered by 4-H of Rutherford County had an opportunity to engage in a scavenger's hunt at the Farmer's Market of Rutherford County. Keelen Ruppe shows one of the items he found, a tomato as large as his hand. There are many opportunities for children to learn about agriculture and more by getting involved in 4-H.
