This year the event moved away from the high school campus to the Rutherford County Agricultural Education Facility, which is where the former Shiloh School was located. The event included livestock and informational booths. One of the highlights for kids was an opportunity to paint on a horse, who didn't seem to mind the colorful artwork. Musical performances were given, like this one by Harris Station. A silent auction fundraiser was held. Proceeds from it are used to help current FFA students at Chase High School, said Chase FFA Alumni Member Jeremy Bradley. In 2015 money raised help students to attend a national FFA event. Sponsors for the 2016 Chase FFA Alumni Farm Day included Rutherford County Farm Bureau, Forest City Mowers, Carolina Farm Credit, Henson Timber, Rollins Plumbing and Wells Jenkins Wells.
