During an event Tuesday at Discovery World, some key com- munity partners were announced for St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, as well as design plans, educational leadership and pro- gramming. The Ramirez family has com- mitted up to $70 million for con- struction and operating costs dur- ing the next 10 years through their foundation, Achieving Educat- ional Excellence. It was announced Tuesday that the school will begin to serve students in summer 2017 on the South Side $70 million in funding, plans unveiled for St.Augustine Prep on South Side See ST.
