Scott Walker pledged Tuesday morn- ing that he is "all in" for Republican presidential hope- ful Ted Cruz just minutes before the Texas U.S. senator addressed supporters in Brookfield. After indicating last week that he would likely support Cruz, Walker made it official on Charlie Sykes' conservative WTMJ talk show, touting the candidate's consistent conser- vative record. About 600 gath- ered for a rally at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield, where Sykes' interview was broadcast moments before Cruz took the stage. Walker said he isn't just endorsing Cruz just as a move to block Donald Trump in Wisconsin, but out of support for his candidacy. "After a lot of time looking at speeches, looking at the records ... it was an easy call for me to support Ted Cruz," Walker said, adding the senator has a "well-thought-out plan to win the nomination" and ulti- mately the general election.
