The Press-Dispatch Fiesta time at Amber Manor
Manor Care Center recently had a "Viva Mexico" theme dinner event featuring au- thentic Mexican cuisine and culture on Friday, May 4. This Cinco de Mayo theme

items such as: chips, salsa, enchiladas, fried rice, tacos and fried ice cream. The week leading up to the
dinner was planned special- ly for the campus' residents and featured menus that contained cuisine similar to what you might expect to find at an authentic Mexican cantina. The menu included
dinner featured special pro- gramming and activities that tied in to the Viva Mexico theme. The campus offered games, trivia and festive Cin- co De Mayo events. "This event was incredible
for our residents and staff alike," commented Shannon Graves, Executive Director
of Amber Manor. "Our resi- dents really enjoyed the spe- cial menu and decorations, and our staff had a wonderful time making preparations. This dinner was one of the many activities we provide our residents to promote so- cialization, and keep them active and engaged. We are already looking forward to our Hawaiian Luau theme dinner in August."
