British actor Jon Foo ("Tekken," 2010) stars as Lee alongside Hires' Carter, and while both aren't ex- actly A-listers, they still bring a wealth of critical experience to the "Rush Hour" TV series. Foo, who was born and raised in London, England, is a dedicated practitioner of Chinese martial arts (also known as Wushu), and has performed a bevy of stunts in Hollywood movies such as "Olym- pus Has Fallen" (2013), "The Myth" (2005), "Batman Begins" (2005) and "The Protector" (2005). "Rush Hour" is his first for- ay into TV, but his 11 years in the business should help prop him up. Hires is a stand-up comedian by trade, but he, too, has more than 10 years of experience in Holly- wood, appearing in "Stomp the Yard" (2007) and "10 Cent Pistol" (2014) on the silver screen, as well as "Key and Peele," "TripTank" and "Jerks with Cameras" on the small screen. He also can keep up with Foo when it comes to martial arts, as he explained in his inter- view with TheSource.com. "Not only am I a comedian, but it just so happens I'm a first degree black belt," he said. "Being able to be a part of a one-hour action/ comedy that combines humor and martial arts seemed like a dream job for me. I was and still am a huge fan of the Rush Hour films, so the guy taking over for Chris Tuck- er better not mess it up." Of course, it would be near im- possible to follow only these two as they embark on wacky adven- tures, so along for the ride are a couple of leading ladies who know a thing or two about acting. Aimee Garcia has a Screen Ac- tors Guild award nomination for her work in the two-time Golden Globe-winning series "Dexter," and has been seen in "Vegas," "Trauma" "George Lopez" and the feature film reboot "Robo- Cop" (2014). Wendie Malick needs little in- troduction, as she has starred in a veritable smorgasbord of hits over the course of her 35-year career. From voice-acting gigs in films such as "The Emperor's New Groove" (2000) and "Brother Bear 2" (2006) to her domination of the sitcom genre with starring roles in award-winning shows such as "Hot in Cleveland," "Just Shoot Me!" and "Dream On," there's almost nothing she can't do.
