Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None," first published way back in 1939, has the enviable distinction of being the planet's bestselling mystery novel, even after all these years. Set on a small island off the coast of England, the novel's his- tory of roping in readers is now ex- tending to TV watchers with an ex- citing two-night miniseries on Lifetime. Premiering Sunday, March 13, and wrapping up the next night Monday, March 14, this BBC import has assembled some top-tier talent to bring Christie's most popular novel to life. Charles Dance and Miranda Richardson headline the diverse cast. Viewers on this side of the pond might recognize Dance from his role as the authoritative Tywin Lannister in "Game of Thrones" or from his work in films such as "The Imitation Game" (2014). Younger audiences might know Richardson best for her supporting role in the Harry Potter films as unscrupulous reporter Rita Skeeter. What they may not know is that she's also been nominated for two Oscars, won two Golden Globes and has been nominated for many other awards and accolades. "And Then There Were None" tells the story of 10 strangers who are invited to visit a house on a small island off the coast of De- von, England. Upon their arrival, they discover that their hosts are not present — and that their lives may be in danger. Along with Dance and Richard- son, the unfortunate house guests are played by Douglas Booth ("Ju- piter Ascending," 2015), Maeve Dermody ("Black Water," 2007), Sam Neill ("Jurassic Park," 1993), Burn Gorman ("The Dark Knight Rises," 2012), Anna Maxwell Mar- tin ("The Bletchley Circle"), Toby Stephens ("Die Another Day," 2002), Noah Taylor ("Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," 2005) and Aidan Turner ("The Hobbit: An Un- expected Journey," 2012).
