Jenna Ortega ("Richie Rich")
stars as Harley, the middle child in
a family with seven kids. Unlike
some other middle kids, though,
she has an ace up her sleeve to
get some attention: she's an engi-
neering prodigy, and she uses her
amazing inventions to make her
way through a life that's dominat-
ed by siblings.
Despite her young age, Orte-
ga's star is certainly rising. Most
recently, she starred in the Golden
Globe-winning romantic comedy
"Jane the Virgin," and she's also
been seen on the silver screen, in-
cluding in the 2013 Marvel hit
"Iron Man 3."
Her siblings are also played by
a group of up-and-comers: Mala-
chi Barton ("See Dad Run"), Ari-
ana Greenblatt ("Liv and Mad-
die"), Kayla Maisonet ("Dog with
a Blog"), Ronni Hawk ("Found,"
2014), Isaak Presley ("Wet Hot
American Summer: First Day of
Camp") and Nicholas Bechtel
("General Hospital") all star as
members of the family.
Middle kids may feel like they
miss out sometimes, but this Feb.
14 they're honored with their very
own series based on their life ex-
periences. "Stuck in the Middle"
premieres its first episode Sunday,
Feb. 14, on Disney Channel.
Hungry for more: David
Schwimmer is hungry for more
television. The actor will probably
be forever known for his iconic roll
in the long-running sitcom
"Friends." These days, though,
he's starring in the new FX anthol-
ogy "The People v. O.J. Simpson:
American Crime Story," and he al-
ready has his next role lined up
and locked down.
Schwimmer stars in "Feed the
Beast," a new AMC show that
was ordered straight to series
last June, and production on the
series began earlier this month.
Also starring Jim Sturgess
("Cloud Atlas," 2012), the drama
has yet to receive a premiere
date, but is expected to air in
May.
Based on a popular Danish
show, "Feed the Beast" is a drama
about two lifelong friends who
are so close that they might as
well be brothers. Dion (Sturgess) is
the "bad boy," with debts to the
mob and a knack for getting into
trouble — trouble that Tommy
(Schwimmer) then has to bail him
out of.
Despite their differences, the
two best friends finally catch a
break and fulfill their longtime
dream of opening an upscale res-
taurant together. Danny hopes to
use the business as a way to give
his son a better life, and Dion sees
it as a means to pay back his
debts. Fireworks, naturally, ensue
— especially once Dion's mob-
sters come looking for the money
he owes them.
Watch for "Feed the Beast" to
premiere on AMC later this year.
