TV Media Weekly | February 13 - 19, 2016 Sunday morning | 7 By Andrew Warren TV Media The last full moon: The werewolf thriller/drama from Space (Canada's sci-fi network) is coming to an end, and it's not even happening on a full moon. Not that that really matters. Real werewolves don't need a full moon to transform, of course. "Bitten," which premiered in 2014, begins its third and final season Monday, Feb. 15, on Syfy. Thankfully, unlike many shows that are suddenly canceled, leav- ing plots and characters hanging, it's been given a full 10-episode season to wrap things up. Laura Vandervoort ("Ted," 2012) returns as Elena Michaels, the world's only female werewolf, who struggles to juggle her "hu- man" life with her more feral one. Series regulars Greyston Holt ("Slap Shot 3: The Junior League," 2008), Steve Lund ("Haven") and Greg Bryk ("A History of Violence," 2005) are also back. A new season means new faces, too. Alex Ozerov ("Orphan Black"), John Ralston ("Degrassi: The Next Generation") and Sofia Banzhaf ("Silent Retreat," 2013) have all joined the lineup, while Genelle Williams ("Warehouse 13") and Tommie-Amber Pirie ("Pretend We're Kissing," 2014), two of the actors who joined "Bitten" in its second season, are also confirmed to be returning. Season 3 picks up a few months after the climatic battle that brought last season to an epic finale. As Elena and her pack continue their hunt for a danger- ous group of mutts (rogue were- wolves), she learns something about herself that surprises every- one. "Bitten's" final season is shap- ing up to have all of the thrills and twists that made the previous two seasons favorites of werewolf fans everywhere. Season 3 of the werewolf epic premieres Monday, Feb. 15, on Syfy. Unstuck: Poor middle kids, al- ways being left out or forgotten about. Heck, Fox's "Malcolm in the Middle," which ran from 2000 to 2006, was a whole show built around the stereotype of the invis- ible middle child. This year, for Valentine's Day, Disney Channel is giving every- one, including those oft-over- looked middle siblings, a very spe- cial gift. The channel's newest family-friendly sitcom, "Stuck in the Middle," is airing a special Stars on Screen # " &194&B?7B1= B9669D8)8?G B9669D8)8?G $?3EC ))E>41I#?B>9>7 135D85$1D9?> ?EC5)=1BDC &(E<<(949>7 # " ??4#?B>9>7=5B931)E>41I ??4#?B>9>7 >4 *89C-55; *89C-55; ?5<%CD55> >*?E38-9D8B 81B<5C)D1><5I &194&B?7B1= >4 *89C-55; &194&B?7B1= @ # ??4#?B>9>7=5B931)E>41I &194&B?7B1= <13;81G;92<5?EB ?=5?>>53D9?> *89C-55; >491>1EC9>5CC &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= # ?EB$5GCKC1I2B51;1D1 = ?EB$5GCKC1I2B51;1D1 = &5D&1491>19>(5F95G &194&B?7B1= H # 893;5>)?E@ 1=581>75BC >*?E38-9D8B 81B<5C)D1><5I ))E>41I#?B>9>7 135D85$1D9?> &194&B?7B1= &(E<<(949>7 D # I5G9D>5CC$5GC-55;5>4)E>B9C5 )E>41I*?41I$ I5G9D>5CC$5GC-55;5>4)E>B9C5 #55DD85&B5CC$ >C945$491>1 &194&B?7B1= #?B5*81>?<4 O #% $1DEB51D +=97? -9<4!B1DDC %44)AE14 9<=C2I!94C ?I?6&19>D9>7 )5G9>7$1>3I 515B-?B<4 =5B93151BD >491>19>(5F95G *??>DB1BI$ C #% 13;1>>1 3??=@1>I "9F5"9651>4-9> )D1>D?>$ ?<>9>7475)D55 %ED4??BC=1> F # *EB>9>7&?9>D-9D8B 1F94 5B5=918 'E19>15CD >*?E38-9D8B 81B<5C)D1><5I "?F5-?BD89>4 ?>>53D9>7"9F5C 12295KC?EC5 19D81D-?B;#9> # ?B7?DD5>*BED8C ?C@574?= D=?C #9B13<5C "978D?EC5 &194&B?7B1= -?BC89@)8ED >C *85"9F9>7-?B4 "?F5189<4 &194&B?7B1= B17?>695<*975B EB9?EC5?B75 $1DEB51D -9<4!B1DDC -9<4!B1DDC %44)AE14 %44)AE14 BD8EB )399B491>1"1G=1;5B -517 B17?>6I )@?BDC)D1BC &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= 1D8?<93#1CC ?H$5GC)E>41I &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= / #$ ?H#?B>9>7$5GC1D)5F5> ?H#?B>9>7$5GC1D978D ?41I >9=15 $ #$ B 1=5C#5BB9D B56D5J5>B1>;<9> ?8>1755 #1BB9175*?41I (?25BD#?BB9C >*?E38 >4I)D1><5I -9>>9>7-1<; "1BBI1>4*9JE38 B9=9>1<#9>4C?EC5?>9B5 B9=9>1<#9>4C*85I5C1F5D B9=9>1<#9>4C>D?D85-??4C B9=9>1<#9>4C"1EB5> %351>KC<5F5>0B9B14&9DD#1DD1=?>5?B755I 514 *85-1<;9>7514?B75D *85-1<;9>7514)@5>4 *85-1<;9>7514*BI *85-1<;9>7514?>AE5B *85-1<;9>75149BCD*9=5719> +>D1=54(19<54 19<541>4$19<54 +>D1=541>4+>3ED)EB@B9C5DD13;C *?5>>?E>354 *?5>>?E>354 *?5>>?E>354 *?5>>?E>354 *>C@9B1D9?> ?22I ?>5C?C@5< "96DF5BI,?935 -5<3?=5?=5(?C3?5 5>;9>C0?= 1=5C1B< ?>5C#1B71B5DF5BI#1BD9>"1GB5>35 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 *$9>1<5 $-B5CD<9>7(ED75BCFC &EB4E5" " * -1D38-81D ?EC5G9F5CD< 1=1931>5561DDI 5F5B555 ?EC5G9F5C& #9>4/?EB#1>>5BC #*#EC93 #*#EC93 ?D?E>D4?G>3?E>D4?G>?6D8529775CD=EC93F945?C@5GC1>49>D5BF95GC )D5F5ECD9>KCB?;5>);E<<81<<5>75 &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= ?=54I&B5C5>DC*?C8 *?C8 *?C8 *?C8 *?C8 *?C8 97144I0?=41=)1>4<5B &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= !)G55D8 *85*95C*81D9>4$ <1C;1)G55D8 )@B9>75<9313I$ ?=5CD514)G55D851BDC$ <1C;1)G55D8 )@B9>7?BG1B4$ *?=?BB?G<1>4 )?691D859BCD #93;5I# *85"9?>E1B4 5CC95 ?7-9D81<<45B3?F5B #1B;1>4(ECC5<4 -85>9>(?=50?=54I ?C8E81=5<>75<931ECD?>!B9CD5>5<< *?D1<9F1C"?F5*B91>7<5 9F1C)E==5B)<1=>7175=5>D 9F1C*85*BED82?ED1DC1>4?7C )@?BDC5>D5B )@?BDC5>D5B %EDC945"9>5C$ )@?BDC(5@?BD $ )@?BDC5>D5BB5F95G?6D8541IKCC3?B5C8978<978DC1>4651DEB5CD?B95C6B?==1:?BC@?BD9>75F5>DC 6?B*85K51BC )@?BDC5>D5B %EDC945D85"9>5C )@?BDC(5@?BD ))D?B954?=9>9AE557CD?+C $1C;5D21<3?B4FC*5=@<5" "?D"9;5"?F50?=C8D?>!ED385B*1BI>#1>>9>7=1>41&55D *85&5B653D#1>B1=1#1I19<25BD8B9CD91>!5I5C#1<9;1<5CC9>7 *85-5449>71D50?=5B=?D#E5I52B1#5CC9>7 1B56??D?>D5CC1 1B56??D?>D5CC1 91411D?=5 )?ED85B>!9D385> &9?>55B-?=1> EIKC979D5$ ?=5??;9>7 &9?>55B-?=1> 9141>D5BD$ )?ED85B>!9D385> )?ED85B>1D51BD BE>38?22I$ ?H)@?BDC"9F5 ?H)@?BDC"9F5 E>4 #1D3841I ")?335B?BECC91#?5>385>7<1421381D1=2EB75B)," $)((135E2" 81C9>7$ $1C;5D21<1D#1BAE5DD5 +#171J9>5 %ED4??BC$ "E>49C89>7$ 9C89>7-5CD$ 5CD9>1D9?>$ 1<1D9?>&?<1B9C $ #9;5#?<=5B931*859BCDF5>75B8B9CF1>C "?F5"E3I "?F5"E3I *85#944<5 *85#944<5 *85?<45>9B9B9B9B35>4B5G-1<;5B*1I9D54)DE66*85#?2KC)53B5D)D1C8 *85?461D85B"5713I *85)19>D,1<5>D9>5KC1I#1CC13B5 H#5>"9651>4"9=2 >*?E38-9D8B 81B<5C)D1><5I =1J9>713DC 1F94 5B5=918 ?5<%CD55> &194&B?7B1= "9DD<5-?=5>D<1>D1 E93I?CC9@ "-D<1>D1*9>I*G9>C*1;5?F5B -81D-?=5>-1>D#5<92C?> )@?>75?2 )@?>75?2 9>?81B75 )@?>75?2 )@?>75?2 )@?>75?2 )@?>75?2 )@?>75?2 ",$$$ ",$$$ ",$$$ ",$$$ $% &194&B?7B1= ?EC5?=2C85<1B7? !9<<5B&?CD )>1@@54 &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &?G5B>1D9?> &?G5B>1D9?> &?G5B>1D9?> &?G5B>1D9?> 1B(5C3E5*9<52D?+C&1BD 1B(5C3E5)31BI#1BIKC %% &194&B?7B1= *85#179391>C*85-?B<49>D85-1<?=@1CC1>D1CI1>95 >=5B931>-5B5G?<69>&1B9C*?=F5B5DD)3?DD "9F9>72I19D8 B *?>IF1>C "9F5-9D8&1CC9?> *?E389>7"9F5C !9>74?= *EB>9>7&?9>D -1<;9>D85-?B4 -9>>9>7-1<; ?C5@8&B9>35 (?>1B@5>D5B "925B1D5 *?E38#9>9CDB95C )59>65<4 )59>65<4 )59>65<4 )59>65<4 B95>4C B95>4C B95>4C B95>4C ?@%ED3D9?>*B13I#?B71>)51>>-9<<91=)3?DDBE35-9<<9C &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= &194&B?7B1= )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC )1I/5C B5CC $1C;5D21<<<< )D1B)1DEB41I$978D "1G%B45B)1F9?B "1G%B45B5359D )@?BDC<./ *55>*9D1>C? *55>*9D1>C? *55>*9D1>C? *?= 5BBI)8?G E>>93E<1 -1229D 5??<)3??2I *55>*9D1>C? *55>*9D1>C? <1B5>35 )D5F5>+>9F5BC5 !
