Please have your funeral home send us your loved ones' obituaries to events@rutherfordweekly.com ©Community First Media Community First Media During the year of 2015, we were honored and privileged to serve 187 families. These families and individuals were going through the most diffi cult time of their lives. Countless, hundreds of people attended funeral or memorial services at our facility or at host churches. The responsibility of helping each family member and funeral attendee does not fall upon one person's shoulders, but belongs to a team of very capable individuals. These individuals compose the staff of Harrelson Funeral Home. The offi ce staff of Laura Funchess and Sharon Edwards is always there to help with phone calls, paperwork, service materials and the aftercare needs of each family. Our embalmer and funeral service licensee, Teresa Pigg, is one of the best embalmers I have personally known and helps with meeting grieving families and arranging services. Funeral assistants, Charles Justice, Clark Edwards, Troy Gordon, Winford Gordon, Max Greene, Ron Mauney and Myron Greene are there to greet people, carry fl owers, direct family members and the other one hundred or more things that need to be done at the funeral home. They are faithful employees and I could not imagine working without each of them. Our sound technician/facility maintenance person, Millie Lineberry with the help of her husband Jerry Lineberry are the ones who come after hours and make sure everything is ready for the next service. They also maintain the grounds of the funeral home and their service is invaluable. Leah Lineberry is our social media expert and does a wonderful job of posting obits on Facebook. We truly are a family of individuals meeting the needs of families who have lost loved ones. I cannot overemphasize the importance of each team member and how they use their unique skills and personality in serving others. Each one of them go above and beyond the call of duty and are willing to work long hours when called upon. I want to thank each one publicly for making Harrelson Funeral Home the Best in Rutherford County. You truly are a wonderful staff!
