Unsafe buildings are the main OVERVIEW: PROJECT BUDGET: $250,000 1 The Double Play building at 606 E. Main St. is on the list due to age and structural problems. 2 N Style Boutique at 608 E. Main St. also known as the Gladish Building is pending inspection. 3 Petersburg's current Fire Station is on the list if they win their Stellar application is successful. A new fire station is planned for Illinois St. The current fire station would be raze to make way for additional parking for court house employees or events at the Old Petersburg Gym. 4 The Pike County Museum is also a candidate to be raze. However this is dependent on Petersburg City Hall moving to the old Barrett Memorial Library location. The museum may be relocated to City Hall. 5 The Silver Dollar Saloon will be razed. However Mayor Jon Craig said the cost of that has been building into the Mixed Use Building development costs project.
