Traci Hukill is a freelance writer and editor. She
and her husband run the outdoor recreation
website Hilltromper.
Erin K. Allshouse has contributed to the Santa Cruz
Sentinel since 2003. She earned a bachelor's degree
in journalism from CSU-Fullerton in 1995. She is mar-
ried to a Santa Cruz native and has two sons and a
cat. She lives in Aptos.
Lexie Corfiatis is a photographer, writer and musician
living in Santa Cruz. She is a graduate of UC-Santa
Cruz. She enjoys spending time outdoors, which
usually involves a jump in the ocean. You can find her
around town playing music with her band Palmz.
Writer and editor Tara Fatemi Walker fell in love with
Santa Cruz as a UC-Santa Cruz student in the late
80s. She has a master's degree in creative writing and
writes for several outlets including the Santa Cruz
Sentinel, the Monterey Herald and Examiner.com.
Jennifer Pittman, a freelance writer and editor, writes
about economic development, entrepreneurship
and long backpack trips. Lately she's been teaching
citizen journalism, taking photos, shooting video and
exploring multimedia storytelling.
