Throughout December, the bank will help wishes come true by delivering $500 checks to 12 nonprofits and gifts valued up to $500 to 12 families or individuals. Anyone can nominate a local charity or someone who deserves a little holiday cheer. Nominations can be made now through Nov. 28 by visiting any of the bank's locations or online at FBFCWI.com/holidays. In December, each First Bank Financial Centre branch will grant an individ- ual wish and donate $500 to an area nonprofit. FBFC has locations in Brookfield, Germantown, Grafton, Hartford, Hartland, Menomonee Falls, Mequon, Milwaukee, Oconomowoc and West Bend. "We have a long history of giving back and supporting the communities we serve. It's a commitment that's woven into our culture and spirit," said Mark Mohr, president and CEO of First Bank Financial Centre. "Last year's Holi-Days of Giving program was a tremendous success, and we hope to continue that good- will this year." During surprise celebra- tions at FBFC's locations in 2014, the bank distributed presents that ranged from $500 gifts of cash to a night on the town for a woman recovering from colon can- cer to Packers gear and necessities such as shoes, boots and transportation passes for an elderly woman who lives alone. The nonprofits who received $500 checks from the bank's Holidays of Giv- ing included: Rogers Memo- rial Hospital; Family Promise of Western Wauke- sha County; Rock River Can- cer Research Foundation; Lake Country Bread of Life; The Nation of Patriots; Addiction Resource Coun- cil/Waukesha County Drug Free Communities; Family Promise of Ozaukee County; Lyds for Kids; Severson Sis- ters; Albrecht Free Clinic of Washington County; Wash- ington County Humane Soci- ety; and Sycamore Tree Childcare. During the past five years, the bank has donated over $1 million to area organiza- tions, and its employees con- tribute volunteer hours to more than 400 groups and nonprofits annually. This year, FBFC is on pace to match those numbers. — Enterprise Staff Nominations accepted now through Nov. 28 Submitted photos Shorehaven staffer Ann Graf fills steins for the throngs.
