It is a fund raiser for the R-S Central SkillsUSA The second annual "Dancing With The Stars" of Rutherford County at R-S Central High School turned out to be a great success. It is a fund raiser for the R-S Central SkillsUSA Section Two Club. The program supports the funding to take students to both state and national competition. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry work- ng together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA's ma n goal is to help each student excel. Their motto is : "Preparing for leadership in the world of work." This year R-S Central will be taking students to compete in the following categories: Section Two Club. The program supports the funding to take students to both state and national competition. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry work- i ing together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA each student excel. This year R-S Central will be taking students to compete in the following categories: residential wiring, fi refi ghting, tool identifi cation and extemporaneous poster. The event was held on Saturday evening, February 18, at the Ellenboro Elemen- y School. Hot dogs, hamburgers and a bake sale took also contributed to the cause. The "Far City Boys" headed up a group of entertainers who donated their talents to make the event even more special. Neighbors came to help out the neighbors who lost most everything in the when there is a time of need! The event which was put together by Andrew Tisdale, Once again, the community comes together.
