The 19-time National Cham- pions Bailey Mountain Cloggers of Mars Hill College brought everyone to the feet when they performed. Their next performance will be November 3, 2012 at R-S Central at the next "Dancing With The Stars" show. It is a fund raiser for the R-S Central SkillsUSA The second annual "Dancing With The Stars" of Rutherford County at R-S Central High School turned out to be a great success. It is a fund raiser for the R-S Central SkillsUSA Section Two Club. The program supports the funding to take students to both state and national competition. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry work- ng together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA's ma n goal is to help each student excel. Their motto is : "Preparing for leadership in the world of work." This year R-S Central will be taking students to compete in the following categories: Section Two Club. The program supports the funding to take students to both state and national competition. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry work- i ing together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA each student excel. Their motto is : "Preparing for leadership in the world of work." This year R-S Central will be taking students to compete in the following categories: residential wiring, fi refi ghting, tool identifi cation and extemporaneous poster. The money raised by the second annual "Dancing With The Stars" will help pay for registration fees, uniforms, transportation, hotel and tools needed for the competition. The next event will be Saturday, November 3rd. TORNADO FUNDRAISER TORNADO FUNDRAISER IN ELLENBOR IN ELLENBORO!O! Once again, the community comes together. The event was held on Saturday evening, February 18, at the Ellenboro Elemen- y School. Hot dogs, hamburgers and a bake sale took also contributed to the cause. The "Far City Boys" headed up a group of entertainers who donated their talents to make the event even more special. Neighbors came to help out the neighbors who lost most everything in the when there is a time of need! The event which was put together by Andrew Tisdale, Once again, the community comes together.
