JRK: What are some of the misconceptions about
transgender people that need to be dispelled? How
is that achieved?
RC: I think the way we educate the world about dif-
ferent types of transgender people and different types
of transitioning is to share stories and educate. Aware-
ness is key in educating.
JRK: What's coming up next for Ryan Cassata?
RC: My album will come out sometime this year and
then next year the short film that I co-starred in will be
coming out. It's called Beemus: It'll End In Tears.
JRK: Do you have any parting thoughts you wish
to relay to Diversity Rules readers?
RC: Stay true, stay you.
