By DAVE FIDLIN Special to The Post MILWAUKEE — After more than three sometimes acrimonious years at the helm of the Milwaukee County Board, Marina Dimitrijevic has ended her oversight of the 18-member gov- erning body. Filling her shoes through next spring is another veteran County Board member: Theo Lipscomb Sr. He represents constituents on the north- east side of the county, including a sliv- er of the city of Milwaukee and most of the North Shore suburbs. Dimitrijevic, by contrast, repre- sents constituents on the opposite end of the county — the near south side, including Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood. Despite stepping down from her chair post, Dimitrijevic has indicated she will continue serving on the board as a supervisor. On July 24, Dimitrijevic submitted her resignation letter for the chair position, which she assumed in April 2012 after an hours-long ballot process took place. She officially left the posi- tion July 30 when Lipscomb was appointed.
