CAROLINA WEATHER BOB'S www.shelbyweather.blogspot.com Email: carolinaweather@yahoo.com METEOROLOGIST ROBERT GAMBLE The Discussion... Keeping your children healthy and happy. Close Call...By early Saturday a weak Gulf low will be spreading moisture across part of the region but right now it doesn't look quite cold enough in our area for snow. However its close enough to watch for possible changes, and so far we have yet to see a flake of snow this Winter, and time is running out. It looks like we will turn colder for a few days at least, after one of the warmest Winters so far in our area and across the whole country. All the Winter weather has been in Alaska and Europe, with most of the United States on the warm and snow-less side so far. I have a feeling by late in the month and in March, that's when our area could finally see some real Wintry weather, if we're going to get it this season. Another quick moving system could spread more rain our way by early Tuesday of next week. Plenty of systems to watch. Hold off on the Spring planting for now.
